About Savanna Goble
Fashion designer, stylist and all around artist, Savanna Goble is best known for her western inspired designs, beaded jackets and painted accessories. One of a kind pieces and custom orders are her speciality. Savanna grew up in Indiana and attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied Fashion Design. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Savanna opened her own studio in her hometown, where she honed in on her artistic skills and saved enough money to move to New York City. In New York, she went on to intern at Claudia Li, a womenswear brand showcasing at New York Fashion Week for several months and worked freelance for Badgley Mischka. After gaining some NY experience, Savanna moved to Nashville, TN, where she interned for celebrity stylist, Tiffany Gifford.
Currently, Savanna is continuing to work on her brand, Sojourn Sisters in Los Angeles, California. Sojourn Sisters is a brand where women feel free to be curious with wanderlust feel connected to other women through friendship and traveling. It is often taboo for a woman to travel on their own without a male companion. Savanna was inspired by her three month sojourn in Arnhem, Holland in the summer of 2016 - when she arrived she didn’t have a place to live, but had lined up a fashion internship with Dutch fashion brand, Maison the Faux. Since then, Savanna has had a passion for traveling and connecting to nature and wants other women to feel inspired and encouraged to take adventures on their own. Sojourn Sisters is a brand, but most importantly, it is a lifestyle.
Savanna has shown her thesis collection at Strut Fashion Show in Chicago, benefiting World AIDS day and Project Vida (2018). She has also shown at SAIC’s annual fashion show and was a featured alum at The Chicago Arts Club of Chicago in conversation with Maria Pinto. She has displayed a three look collection as a part of SAIC’s fashion exhibition at Spertus Institute and has had a garment displayed in Garfield Park Conservatory’s pond. She also had a garment featured in Jamila Wood’s music video, “Holy”.
